I'm Theatre major with a concentration in Costume Design at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama USA. I have been costuming since I was 13; however, I have been sewing in general since childhood. I owe my sewing skills to my grandmother, who was a professional seamtress, and to my mother who just enjoys to sew and costume like myself. My career goal is to be a Costume Designer in Film, Theatre, and TV. I'm currently working on getting my B.A. in Theatre. Afterwards I plan to continue on to a grad school program to further study Costume Design and Historical Fashion. In the meantime, I'm working on stipend for our costume shop at Theatre UAB and work professionally during the summer.
